Bruce contributed a piece for the “Empire Skates Back” charity art auction at the official Lucasfilm Star Wars Celebration V convention. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back, 30 tattoo artists were each given a blank skateboard deck to paint, sculpt, or build their homage, rendition or interpretation of this amazing film. Bruce covered his skate deck with black velvet, and chose to depict everyone’s favorite bounty hunter, Boba Fett. The skate deck auction was coordinated by Shane Turgeon, author of “The Force In The Flesh“.
Bruce was proud that his skate deck raised $1000 for charity. It was purchased by Steve Sansweet, who has amassed one of the world’s largest “Star Wars” collections.  All proceeds from sale went to benefit the “Make a Wish Foundation”.
